Damien Holt - Driver
Team Holt is a newcomer to the drifting scene, aiming to prove that even rookies can make a serious damn impact. Leading the charge is Damien Holt, a badass young gun with an old soul and a 600hp BMW E36 he built from the ground up.
Damien’s journey with United We Slide didn’t begin right away. It started when he reached out to Chad on social media, asking for advice on how to set up his drift car. What began as a simple question turned into an epic friendship as they worked together on various projects, sharing ideas and helping each other push the limits of their builds. Chad quickly saw Damien’s unwavering passion for the sport, not to mention his limitless welding skills, and watched him consistently step up to get anyone back on the track.
It wasn’t long before Chad realized Damien embodied everything United We Slide stands for: community, passion, and camaraderie. Damien’s willingness to do just about anything — sometimes to a wild extent — also became legendary.
When Damien officially joined United We Slide, it felt like the perfect fit, solidifying a bond that continues to inspire the community they’ve built together. Damien is proof that anyone can start living out their passion with a car and a strong desire. He’s relentless in his pursuit, constantly networking to improve aspects of his build, bartering, and trading parts to keep his dream alive. His journey shows that with hard work, resourcefulness, and the courage to just get started, anyone can carve their place in the drifting world and beyond. And keeping a shit ton of glitter on hand for practical jokes — enough to make even the most seasoned stripper jealous — is a testament to his wicked sense of humor and his knack for leaving a lasting impression.
Alongside Damien, you’ve got his dad Daniel, a seasoned motorsports junkie, and his ride-or-die crew, Max and Wes. When they’re not shredding the drift track, Damien and Wes are tearing up Yosemite’s rugged terrain in their rock crawlers, fishing and always chasing the next adrenaline rush.
Damien’s story and his connection to Chad are proof that drifting isn’t just about cars — it’s about the connections we make and the drive to keep sliding united.
